Helena Shih

Helena was trained as a software programmer and spent most of her career in the tech sector at companies like Apple, IBM, Sun, and so on. However, during COVID pandemic, she decided to pivot her career toward the healthcare sector and joined CVSHealth digital division in 2021. 

Helena has a unique ability to adapt and excel in an evolving environment since moving to the US from Taiwan in her early twenties. She is passionate about continuously learning and applying her skills to new contexts. She brings a global perspective to her work, whether it's from working as a system engineer and mainframe operator at NEC or global technical product manager on medical devices at Olympus. Helena previously was the corporate level globalization and quality executive and served as a board member for the Unicode Consortium.

When not at work, Helena enjoys reading, traveling, and giving back to the community. Since 2015, she has been an active volunteer at Save a Dog in Sudbury, MA.
