Laura Harder – Cloud Solutions Architect Technical Strategist, VMware

Laura Harder is an experienced cyber-security leader with over 22 years of military service and 19 years in the private sector. Currently a Cloud Solutions Technical Strategist at VMware, she has served as a cybersecurity director at multiple companies. An ISSA Fellow, she serves on ISSA International board of directors, leads the Northern Colorado ISSA chapter, and is part of the Women in Security Small Interest group. She holds multiple Information Technology certifications, including CISSP, CompTIA Security +, Project +, Scrum Agile, and Microsoft certifications.

Mark Meulemans – Director of Cloud Solutions Architecture, VMware

Mark Meulemans is a seasoned cloud solutions architect with over 15 years of experience delivering network, security, and cloud computing solutions for a diverse range of customers and industries. His career has focused on enabling customers to be successful with new technologies and solutions, which is a result of his passions for novel thinking and developing others. Mark leads the Cloud Solution Architecture team for VMware’s hyperscaler platforms in the Americas, supporting VMware Cloud solutions in partnership with Microsoft, Google, and Oracle. Mark has spent the past several years as a champion for mental health awareness, striving to enable himself and others to be better allies and supporters of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Alexandra McCoy – Site Reliability Engineer, VMware

Alexandra McCoy is an SRE Engineer at VMware. She is passionate about Cloud Native, Open Source, and Reliability Engineering communities. Although VMware is home, she was introduced to the Cloud industry while in IBM – Public Sector and then transitioned into IBM Cloud. She later gained additional hybrid cloud experience at Diamanti, focusing on E2E product support for their on-prem Kubernetes based appliance, utilized for its storage and networking virtualization capabilities. She is excited about the industry's direction and hopes to contribute in a way that only helps improve the cloud space.

Amber Buening – Senior Vice President and Security Outreach Director, The Huntington National Bank

Amber Buening is the Security Outreach Director, SVP at Huntington Bank. In this capacity, her team works alongside Fraud, Risk, Physical Security, and Cybersecurity to protect the bank and its customers by raising awareness of security threats and best practices to protect against these threats.
Amber is also responsible for fostering partnerships with community, industry, and governmental organizations to raise security awareness and collaboration.
Before joining Huntington, Amber worked for 12 years at The Ohio State University where she served most recently as the Associate Director of Disaster Recovery and Security Outreach. In previous roles at Ohio State, Amber served on the leadership teams of the Information Security (NIST) Framework, Multi-Factor Authentication, and Digital Flagship enterprise projects.
