Overview

As we progress in our Information Security career, there are several fundamental principles we must master to go from entry-level to a leadership role. Understanding the technical side of security is critical – however we must also understand where our business is going and how information security can help build that solid, secure foundation upon which the business can grow. And to accomplish this goal, we must transcend the IT side, build relationships and truly become a business leader. Randall Frietzsche will discuss how his career progressed from the helpdesk to the office of the CISO, and the vital skills and knowledge he has learned along the way.
