Nicole Nguyen

Anita Karim

Anita Karim serves as the Vice President of Policy, Risk, and Control for CISO at Citi Bank. She has over 15 years of experience in Cybersecurity in various roles. Prior to joining CITI, she was at Children’s Health and managed various areas such as identity and access management, cybersecurity awareness, risk assurance, etc. She has also focused her experience on strategy, threats operations, incident response, crisis management, metrics, communication, and developing cost effective solutions.
Anita has a Master’s in Health Information Management and a Bachelor’s in Biology/Chemistry. Her passion is to educate students and teach various college level courses for over 10 years. She is currently on the advisory committee for Collin County College as they build their Cybersecurity bachelor’s program.

Nancy Covert has been with Dale Carnegie Training® for 36 years and is the President of Dale Carnegie Training® of North and Central Alabama. She and her family moved to Alabama in 2004 and became franchisees in 2006. Nancy is a training industry veteran. She is known for her relevant, real, and results-centric solutions. Her engaging, high-energy style makes adult learning more enjoyable. With hundreds of training delivery hours and a passion for empowering others, she has channeled her energy and desire into helping others become even more successful.

Lou Rabon

With over 26 years of experience, Lou Rabon is a seasoned technology professional. Lou has dedicated 22 years to Cybersecurity and 9 years to International Privacy, honing expertise in Incident Response, Cloud Security, Privacy, and Regulatory Compliance. Currently serving as the CEO and Founder of Cyber Defense Group, a cybersecurity strategic advisory firm founded in 2016, Lou focuses on delivering exceptional Incident Response and Security Program Management consulting services. Before joining CDG, Lou served as the Information Security Officer (CISO) at Spokeo. In this role, he diligently analyzed threats across a widely dispersed “perimeter,” which included a hybrid cloud environment for the Alexa Top-500 ranked website.
Lou’s entrepreneurial spirit shines through as he’s established and managed consultancies in France, Australia, and both coasts of the United States. He frequently shares his expertise on panels and at industry conferences, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to advancing the cybersecurity landscape. Passionate about safeguarding the digital future of our children, Lou is dedicated to protecting and securing the ever-evolving technology landscape.

Julian Edgar

As Head of Americas for CyberVadis, Julian is responsible for helping organizations assess and reduce their third party cybersecurity risks with both a screening solution and scalable evidence-based assessments. Julian is responsible for both the operations & commercial scaling of the business in the region, supporting a growing number of clients and providing more accurate, actionable tech-enabled TPCRM than they had previously. Prior to joining Cybervadis, Julian helped build a third-party risk company in New York City from inception through to sale of the business. He also sat on the board of the International Energy Risk Association during this time. Prior to that he founded, built and sold a UK-based sports event management business.
