Dan Dagher

National Risk Management Center (NRMC) Supply Chain Risk Management Initiative Lead, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)

Mr. Dan Dagher is the Supply Chain Risk Management Initiative Lead within the National Risk Management Center (NRMC) at the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). He oversees a wide-ranging CISA-wide program intended to provide supply chain support and recommendations to partners and stakeholders across the federal government and private industry. Supply chain risk management, with a focus on both Information Communications Technology (ICT) and 5G, are top CISA priorities. Mr. Dagher also serves as a representative on the Federal Acquisition Security Council.

To help identify and address the risks presented by vulnerabilities within the supply chain, Mr. Dagher’s team provides the program management support behind the ICT Supply Chain Risk Management Task Force, a collection of 40 industry and 20 United States Government members tacking key strategic questions in the supply chain risk management space. Additionally, the team provides oversight and implementation of the 5G Strategy Objectives.

Previous to CISA, Mr. Dagher was a Senior Associate and Cybersecurity Analyst with Delta Risk where he led, facilitated, and provided support for several key initiatives across the Department of Defense cyber community in the office of the Department of Defense Chief Information Officer and also the office of the Principal Cyber Advisor to the Secretary of Defense. He helped write and implement the DoD 2015 and 2018 Cyber Strategies, and provided portfolio oversight for over 120 DoD cyber activities, including Supply Chain Risk Management and 5G activities.

Mr. Dagher is a retired U.S. Air Force officer, having served over 27 years as a combat pilot, commander, Weapons Officer, Electronic Warfare Officer, Regional Affairs Specialist, and Security Cooperation Officer. He holds a Master of Science in International Political Science from Royal Defense College, Brussels Belgium, and a Master of Science in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle in Daytona Beach, Florida. He holds an FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate and is an FAA Certified Flight Instructor.
