The 2022 International Board of Elections  Call for Nominations window is now officially closed. 

The 2022 International Board Candidate Slate will be announced by May 13th, 2022

Service on the International Board of Directors gives you the opportunity to guide the direction of ISSA, raise the professionalism and influence of security practitioners, shape the destiny of the cyber security profession, and enhance your personal leadership skills.

Positions up for Election are as follows:

Vice President – [3-year term]

The Vice President assists the President and shall assume the duties of the President in his/her absence or inability and perform such other duties as may be authorized and delegated by the Board of Directors

Treasurer/CFO – [3-year term]

The Treasurer shall be the chief financial officer of the Association. The Treasurer/CFO is responsible for the performance of all duties incident to the office of Treasurer and such other duties as may be authorized and delegated by the Board of Directors.

Directors – [3 open seats; 3-year terms]

Eligibility

For the role of Director, all candidates must be an experienced chapter leader, ISSA Fellow, or have comparable experience (per the ISSA By-Laws). All candidates for the role of Officer (President, Vice President, Secretary or Treasurer) must have previously served a full term as an Officer or Director on the ISSA International Board of Directors.

All candidates and campaign activities must follow the election policies.

Nomination

All Nominations must be received by 11:59 p.m. US Eastern Daylight Time on May 5th, 2022.

Candidates may be nominated by their chapters or sitting members of the International Board.

The following documents must be submitted by each nominee prior to the nomination deadline:

*Each candidate will be limited to one column space in the ISSA Journal, a maximum of 400 words, for their biography and statement of goals.

Identical biographies, goals and photos will be published in all media.
