Vienna, VA –July 19, 2022 ISSA, the premier non-profit cybersecurity professional association, announced today the results of its elections for the International Board of Directors.

With the membership of cybersecurity professionals and chapters reaching around the globe, ISSA provides a unified voice on key issues, influencing public opinion, government regulations, media, and other important audiences. As the only independent forum dedicated to advancing the development of cybersecurity professionals, the organization plays a crucial role in fostering industry leaders.

International Board of Directors for 2022/2023

Pamela Fusco, who ran uncontested, will again assume the role ISSA CFO/Treasurer. Deb Peinert, was re-elected for the role of ISSA International Vice President and will be joined by the following newly elected International Board members:

Laura Harder

Betty Burke was re-elected as a board member and will serve another three-year term

As leaders of the ISSA, the International Board of Directors are at the forefront of protecting the cyber frontier. Through ISSA, this collective experience is transformed into powerful knowledge and peer networking to help cybersecurity practitioners from all levels – from students to CISOs – to stay informed with rapidly evolving technology and to develop the next generation of cybersecurity leaders.

Those newly elected will be inducted during the 2022 Annual Membership meeting on September 8, 2022 and join the full ISSA International Board in September at the ISSA Cyber Executive Forum and Board meeting.
