Michelle Duquette – Cyber Security Advisor, Battelle

Michelle Duquette is a Cybersecurity Advisor who has supported Government, military and Fortune 500 companies. Through her career, Michelle has advised on implementation and effectiveness of information security programs, Cybersecurity policy management, and has been a part of integrated product teams, providing information risk management and security implementation recommendations. Michelle Duquette currently works with Battelle as a Senior Research Scientist, previously as a Senior Consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton, and a Software Engineer with Lockheed Martin. Michelle holds a M.S. Computer Science from the George Washington University, and a B.S. in Information Management and Technology from Syracuse University. In addition, Michelle is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).

Kris Rides – CEO, Tiro Security

Kris has a passion for all things Cybersecurity hiring, retention and diversity related. He has spoken at various conferences including DEFCON, RSA, and (ISC)2 security congress on these areas. Kris has been working in technical staffing for over 20 years and is Founder and CEO of Tiro Security, a cybersecurity staffing and professional services firm founded over 8 years ago. He also recently founded a staff retention software and services company, kmute.

Kris is the previous President and honorary board member of the Los Angeles, Cloud Security Alliance Chapter and is a founding Board Member of the original SoCal Chapter that is now San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles. He also serves as an Advisory Board Member for the National Cybersecurity Training & Education Center (NCyTE).
