Mark Weatherford Added to Keynote Lineup for 2016 ISSA International Conference

Information Systems Security Association announced on Wednesday, July 6th, that Mark Weatherford will join industry leaders as a keynote speaker at the 2016 ISSA International Conference. The conference will be held November 2-3, 2016, at the Hyatt Regency Dallas in Dallas, Texas, USA. This year's theme is "Survival Strategies in a Cyber World."

Weatherford currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Cybersecurity Strategist at vArmour, the data center and cloud security company. With over 20 years of leadership experience in security operations and executive level policy in some of the larges public and private sector organizations in the world, Mark has a long list of career accomplishments.

Weatherford is a former Navy cryptological officer and led the United States Navy’s Computer Network Defense operations and the Naval Computer Incident Response Team. He was appointed by President Obama as the Department of Homeland Security's first Deputy Under Secretary for Cybersecurity and has served as the CISO for the states of California and Colorado.

In addition to serving on advisory boards to Cylance, Coalfire Systems and AlertEnterprise, Weatherford is a founding member of the CyberCalifornia Board of Advisors. He was named CSO of the Year in 2010 by SC Magazine.

Mark will lead a keynote session titled "To the Cloud: Ready or Not!."
