Michael Coates, Chief Information Security Officer of Twitter, added to Keynote Lineup for 2016 ISSA International Conference

Information Systems Security Association announced on Friday, June 24th, that Michael Coates has signed on to give a keynote address at the 2016 ISSA International Conference. The conference will be held November 2-3, 2016, at the Hyatt Regency Dallas in Dallas, Texas, USA. This year's theme is "Survival Strategies in a Cyber World."
Michael Coates is the Chief Information Security Officer at Twitter. He leads Twitter's security program across all elements of information security. Coates is also the former chairman and a current member of the global board of directors for OWASP, the largest open source application security community.
Coates has been a leader in the security industry for over a decade where he focuses on building risk and security programs for technology companies such as Twitter, Mozilla, financial institutions and government. Coates was featured as one ofSC Magazine's Influential IT security minds and is a strategic advisor for startups.
Coates will lead a keynote session on November 3rd that is called "Building a Security Program That Succeeds - Scale, Efficacy and Executive Support."
