On June 22, all eligible voters should have received an email which includes individual voter credentials and a link to the official ISSA International Board Election ballot. The polls will remain open until July 19 at midnight US Pacific time (7:00 a.m. July 20 GMT). This is your opportunity to influence how ISSA provides meaningful value to members and impacts the information security community.
General, CISO Executive, Corporate Organizational, Government Organizational and Lifetime members in good standing as of June 21, 2009 are eligible to vote. Students and temporary members of any kind are not voting members. Any eligible voter who did not receive credentials, has questions or needs assistance should contact Elections Support or call (866) 349-5818 within the US, +1 (206) 388-4584 internationally, extension 103, to speak with Dana Paulino.
To ensure you receive important announcements during the election, issa.org should be whitelisted (if it is not already) along with the servers listed at http://www.jangomail.com/senders.asp.
Before final submission of the ballot, voters have an opportunity to review their selections and print a receipt. The receipt will include a unique confirmation number, which should be kept confidential.

The deadline for submitting nominations for 2008 Award Recognition is quickly approaching. Please take the time to look around your chapter and identify someone who deserves recognition. Nominations need to be submitted by your chapter officers, CPAC representatives or an International Board member, but anyone can nominate. If you will just take the time to identify candidates, the Awards Committee will walk you through the process of writing up the nomination.
