Ben Clark, author of the Red Team Field Manual (RTFM), will be teaching a 1-day RTFM class on June 16th at the JJ Pickle Center. 

This course is designed to teach information security professionals how to detect, deter, and deny attackers through a series of hands on labs showing the tools and techniques attackers use to compromise systems and networks. Throughout the course students will see and leverage tools used by attackers in various stages of system and network compromise, and then immediately dissect and analyze the artifacts these tools leave behind, gaining a deeper understanding of how to detect directed attacks. With each scenario, students will learn tactics and techniques to detect and prevent common attack techniques.

Cancellation Policy:  No cancellations, however a substitute attendee may be registered at any time prior to the start of class.

Student requirements:

Basic OS understanding of Windows and Linux. Experience 
with pen testing tools such as Metasploit is a plus.

Student to bring:

  • Host system w/minimum of 4GB memory VMware Player, Workstation or Fusion (VMs provided by instructor)
  • Ethernet Port, USB Port
  • Minimum 10GB free hard drive space
  •  Admin rights to system
