Today’s information security threats are Universal. When Disney was built and “It’s a Small World’ opened, the american people were just starting to experiment with personal computers. When Epcot (Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow) was built, we didn’t accept Visa credit cards more often then cash. Today, business are smaller, leaner, and yet far more complex. Organizations of all size need to adopt advanced security principles in order to protect their brands & competitiveness, protect their intellectual property & innovation, and most important, protect their customer’s data to thrive in a global marketplace.

Sr. Security Engineer – Southeast & Caribbean
Over the last 17 years, Eric Cohen has focused on helping Global 2000 organizations improve their Information Technology & Security maturity. Before joining Mandiant in 2014 & FireEye in 2015, Eric spent 6 years at SecureWorks conducting hundreds of technical (network, application, wireless, & human – vulnerability/penetration testing), & non-technical (governance, risk, & compliance) assessments. He enjoys discussing the evolution of our Financial, HealthCare, Utility, & Manufacturing organizations and their need to incorporate current information security principles. On 11–11–11 @ 11:11, Eric married his first love & best friend, 20 years after they met in high school. They live in Orlando, Florida, near the University of Central Florida, where Eric graduated in 1996. Eric has earned a variety of certifications throughout his career, of which 3 remain active: CISSP, PCI–QSA, PCIP.
