"Trends in Incident Response" by Wendi Rafferti
Everywhere you look, security incidents are in the news. From hands-on experience investigating some of the world's largest security breaches, Wendi will take a deeper look at industry trends from recent public reports (examples: Mandiant M-Trends, the Verizon Business Report which will be discussed in the proceeding presentation McAfee's Night Dragon report, for example) and and discuss in detail what some of these high level statistics actually mean for the industry. Wendi will provide examples from recent security breaches that correspond to reporting trends as well as be able to answer audience questions regarding incident response and current security breaches in the news.
