Next Chapter Meeting

The next chapter meeting will be on Tuesday November 4th. David Gibson, Director of Strategies for Varonis, will present 'Managing Unstructured Data’. Year after year businesses, organizations and enterprises create an endless array of data files, some extremely sensitive, some completely mundane. IT organizations have no insight into who created the data, who owns the folders where it is stored, who can access it, or who actually does access it.  Managing access to unstructured data ranges from formidable to impossible, but the steps discussed here can help make the process manageable.

The meeting will be held at the Regional Enterprise Tower 425 Sixth Ave. This is a Lunch meeting so registration will begin at 10:30 am, the presentation starting at 11:00 am and a buffet lunch at Noon.

Cost:  $10.00 for members with advance registration ($15.00 without pre-registration)
             $15.00 for non-members with advance registration ($20.00 without pre-registration)
$5.00 for students with advance registration ($10.00 without pre-registration)

To register in advance for this meeting contact Mike Sotace at mpsotace@edmc.edu or phone (412) 995-7342.  For more information on this event click here
