Help us plan the party to celebrate ISSA's 25th Anniversary. The celebration will be held on September 20 in Anaheim, CA, USA (home of Disneyland). A 25th Anniversary Committee is being formed to work with staff to organize and execute the event.
Help shape the educational programs offered through ISSA International. ISSA is forming an Educational Advisory Council (EAC), to assist with content for educational webcasts, white paper reviews and research projects.
The EAC will work with staff and the Board of Directors to give direction on educational offerings. Duties of the EAC will include: 1) Provide direction on educational webcasts, including content, speaker recommendations and review; 2) Peer review of white papers; 3) Offer guidance on partnerships with educational institutions; and 4) Provide suggestions for research projects.
Volunteer Requirements
Those interested in serving should be willing to participate in committee conference calls, work on one or more projects throughout the year, and be responsive to occasional emails and phone calls from staff liaisons. EAC members will be appointed for a two-year term.
Volunteers must be ISSA members in good standing, and should be involved in the information security community and their local ISSA chapters. ISSA will make an effort to assure that the committee is representative of the ISSA membership including representation from a variety of industries, geographic regions, and job functions.
