If you will be in San Francisco during the RSA Conference USA, please join us as we pay tribute to eighteen outstanding individuals, chapters and an organization selected by their peers to receive a 2008 International Award for their exceptional contributions to ISSA and the information security profession. The awards will be presented on Wednesday, April 22 at 5:30 p.m., at the (ISC)2 Member Networking Reception.

Volunteers Needed for ISSA's Booth (353) at the RSA Conference

A handful of volunteers are needed to staff our booth with ISSA award winners and International Board members during the RSA Conference. Booth hours are 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. (Tuesday and Wednesday) and 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. (Thursday). Please email Lyn Trainer, ltrainer@issa.org, if you can help.

We are looking forward to meeting and talking with many members during the conference. Visit our booth, #353, and enter a drawing to win a free year's membership inclusive of chapter dues (can be used to extend your existing membership). There will be a separate drawing for vendors for a chance to win a full page 4-color ad in the ISSA Journal.

Invite your friends and business associates who are not ISSA members to visit the ISSA booth and join during the conference. For each person you bring or refer to the booth, you will receive an additional entry into the membership drawing. If they join ISSA during the conference, we will send you a special gift as a token of appreciation.


Nominations for International Board Due April 30

Your Elections Committee is currently accepting nominations for 4 directors and 3 officers to represent you on the ISSA International Board of Directors. Nominations may be made by your Chapter Board of Directors, a sitting International Board member or by petition for at-large members. For nomination guidelines go to http://www.issa.org

Preparing for Investigation: Forensics and eDiscovery - ISSA Web Conference April 28

Join your fellow ISSA Members in listening to experts as they discuss trends, laws and case studies for forensics investigation and eDiscovery. Members will have an opportunity to ask questions and will be eligible for CPE credit, after successful completion of the post event quiz.
