ISSA Announces New Alliance with Microsoft

The ISSA today announced a new alliance with Microsoft Corp. to provide security training, education and networking opportunities to information security professionals around the world. As part of the new relationship, Microsoft will gather feedback from local ISSA chapter leaders to identify their specific security education needs and priorities. Based on this input, Microsoft will develop and provide security education materials and training opportunities for ISSA members. Additionally, Microsoft will work with ISSA on chapter expansion and development initiatives.

This event represents a major milestone in the maturing of the information security industry and is big win for the ISSA. Look for the survey to be sent out to all members so that you can provide your feedback on the initiative priorities. To read the full press release, click here.

ISSA and Georgetown Law Center Collaborate on Major Conference

Emerging Trends in Information Security and the Law

CEOs, CIOs, CISOs and legal professionals need to understand the developments in regulations and statutes that have led to convergence of issues between information security and inhouse and outside counsel.
