The ISSA Business Plan for July 1, 2005 – December 31, 2007 has as its top two organizational priorities to increase world-wide paid General Membership to 12,000 members by December 31, 2006 and 16,000 members by December 31, 2007. Of these increases, the non-US paid membership goals are to 2500 members by June 30, 2006 and 4,000 members by December 31, 2007.
Each ISSA general members recruit at least one new general member a year for the next two years.

A random drawing of the winners (the current ISSA member and the new referred General member) will take place each time ISSA accepts a group of 1000 new General Memberships. If ISSA receives 10,000 applications then 10 pairs of winner will be chosen.
Yes. Current ISSA members (members who are in good standing at the time the new General Membership Application is submitted) may enter new general members as many times as completed and accepted ISSA General application and associated fees are received during the Sweepstakes period.
No. New members are defined as those eligible for ISSA General Membership who has not been a General Member of ISSA since December 1, 2003 or were General Members through the eligibility period of the Sweepstakes till December 31, 2007.
Duplicate entries for the same new member will be automatically eliminated. Where a dispute arises about who referred an application, the entry will be deemed submitted by earliest date the application is received by ISSA. E-mail, mailed or faxed applications must be received December 31, 2007 by 2359 GMT. Odds of winning are 1 pair for each group of 1000 General Membership applications correctly completed. Application sets of less than 1000 will not be eligible for any “1 + 1” Sweepstakes prize.
A new member becomes a General Member after 91 days of ISSA membership and eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes as an ISSA General Member.
Employees, officers, directors and agents (and their immediate families and household members regardless of where they live, or members of the same households (whether related or not)) of ISSA International, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents and advertising agencies (collectively, the “Providers”), are not eligible to participate in the Membership Drive or to win any prize. VOID OUTSIDE OF THE ELIGIBILITY AREA AND WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. All other categories of ISSA member THAT ARE NOT GENERAL and CISO MEMBERS are not eligible to enter.
One (1) pair (General Member and New Member) of winners from each 1000 new General Memberships (current ISSA member and the referred new member) shall each receive the “1 + 1 ”Membership Incentive package which consists of:
If the selected pair of winner cannot take the Grand Prize Package for any reason or accepts, then forfeits, no alternate prize will be awarded to such potential winner, and the incentive package will be awarded to another entrant. You have to attend a security conference or seminar within one (1) year after notification.
Winners will be notified within two weeks of selection by e-mail, mail and/or telephone. Failure of the potential Prize Winners to respond within fourteen (14) days from such notification referred to above may result in disqualification and the selection of alternate Winners.
